ABOUT PETS AS THERAPY
Pets As Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983 by Lesley Scott-Ordish.
They enhance health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of trusted volunteers with their behaviourally assessed animals.
Max is our Pets as therapy dog and as you can see from below, he is delightful- a cross between a Spaniel and Labrador. His main job is to help improve the literacy of our children by developing their confidence and interest in reading and enjoyment of reading through the read2dogs scheme.
