Home Learning

The resources that we have chosen for the children to complete have come from a range of sources which you may also be able to access from home. Below are the links to the website which we have used to collate the work for the children. Please be aware, that some of the websites listed, require a subscription to access the work.

WBJS uses a fantastic online resource called Twinkl, which is now being extended for parent use, free of charge for 1 month. This has school closure learning packs for each year group.

Setting this up is really easy to do - go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and enter the code UKTWINKLHELPS

We have tried provide a range of activities, academic and non, to help you continue your children's learning. We are aware that there may be times when it is not possible to complete required tasks, so we ask that you do whatever you can in the time that you have. Our Home Learning page has a wide choice of work for you to choose from but we don't want you to feel overwhelmed with the amount given as we only, we just wanted to give you the flexibility of choice.

Please let us know if you are having trouble accessing any of the work or are finding it hard to achieve. We want this to be an enjoyable time at home with your children!

What to do with the work:

Remember to send us what you have done in one email each day.  Photos of the work is absolutely fine.

Maths Work: Either on the sheets or straight into the maths book that your child was given.

English/Topic/Other: This can go either in the normal red homework book or on paper into the scrapbook (red covered book).

It may depend on the quality of the work!  You may decide to put the tasks such as SPaG into homework book and save the 'better looking' ones for the scrap book!
