MEDICINES - Please use the Administration of Medicine Form:

Antibiotics Pupils prescribed a short-term course of antibiotics/ointment:

• to be taken/used 3 times a day, can be administered outside school hours (exception may be if the child is attending an after school club)
• to be taken/used 4 times a day, may have it administered by admin/support staff subject to written notice being given to the school office.

Parents of pupils needing more frequent medication will be advised to consider whether their child is well enough to attend school.
