Governors Committee Structure
The main work of the Governors is conducted through its Committees. There
are two formal committees and one informal group. The informal group deals
with all long term strategic and co-ordination activities and is made up of
the Chairs of the two committees together with the Chair of Governors and
the Head. The two committes are:
Children and Learning, responsible for policies and monitoring of all
matters relating to curriculum, inclusion, special needs and other child
centred issues. (The Looked After Children and SEN Governors are members of
this committee) Chair: Hilary Dickenson
General Purposes, responsible for policies and monitoring of all matters
relating to Finance and the physical assets of the site including site
related aspects of Health and Safety, together with personnel issues and
devolved leadership throughout the School Staff and including recruitment.
