West Byfleet enjoys good working partnerships with the following schools:

West Byfleet Infant School

 

This is our main Infant Feeder school, located on our site. The schools

work together very closely and both Headteachers are committed to

ensuring a smooth transition for all its pupils from Key Stage 1 to Key

Stage 2.

There are a range of activities that both schools work on in partnership including:

• Pastoral Transition for KS1 to 2 (Years 2 to 3)
• Pedagogical Transition for KS1 to 2 (Years 2 to 3)
• Joint fundraising events between the two schools, e.g. PTA/PFA events
• Joint charity fundraising events
• Sharing staff and professional expertise e.g. Emotional, Learning Support Assistant, Site Manager
• Staff training e.g. Safeguarding, phonics
